Kajabi has just announced their biggest platform update in years, and it's called Kajabi Evolved 2025. This is the first major pricing change since 2015, along with new plan structures and features designed to help creators scale their businesses.

As someone who builds Kajabi websites for a living, I've had time to dig through these changes, and I want to break down what's new, what it costs, and what it means for you. Spoiler alert: So far, I'm LOVING it!

Kajabi Evolved 2025: What Are the New Features?

Customizable Checkout Pages

Kajabi now offers fully customizable checkout pages designed to reduce cart abandonment and increase conversions. You can tailor the checkout experience to match your brand and optimize for your specific audience.

This means fewer people dropping off before completing their purchase, which directly impacts your revenue without needing additional tools or plugins on multiple platforms.

Higher Product Limits Across All Plans

Kajabi offers new plans that come with significantly higher product limits. Where the old Basic plan gave you 3 products, the new Basic plan includes 10 products. Growth went from 15 to 50 products, and Pro jumped from 100 to Unlimited products.

This gives you more flexibility to test new offers and create multiple revenue streams for your online business.

Cohort Courses

This feature lets you run time-bound courses with specific start and end dates. Instead of offering evergreen access, you can create urgency and community by having students move through your course together. Cohort courses are available on Growth and Pro plans.

Comment-to-DM Feature

When someone comments on your content, you can now automatically send them a direct message. This feature helps you engage with your audience more effectively and move conversations from public comments to private interactions. It's available on Growth and Pro plans.

Video Translations and Transcriptions

Kajabi now includes automatic video transcriptions and translations, which makes your content more accessible to international audiences and people who prefer reading over watching. This is included on Growth and Pro plans.

Branded Mobile App Included in Pro

The branded mobile app feature, which used to cost extra, is now built into the Pro plan. Your students can access your content through a custom-branded app on iOS and Android.

What Is the New Pricing?

Kajabi's pricing is increasing for the first time since 2015. Existing customers won't see the price change until January 13, 2026, but new customers will start paying the updated rates right away.

You can stay on your current plan and accept the price increase in January 2026, or migrate to one of the new plans now.

Either way, you'll pay the same price. The difference is that migrating gives you immediate access to the higher limits and new features like cohort courses, comment-to-DM, and video translations.

Kajabi Evolved 2025: My Thoughts on This Kajabi Update

As a Kajabi Expert, I've spent time exploring the new features, and there's a lot to like here. Kajabi packed this update with tools that eliminate the need for multiple subscriptions, which is always a win!

My favorite new features are:

• Multiple pricing options at checkout: You can now offer different price points on the same checkout page, which makes it easier to present payment plans or tiered offers.
• Automatic affiliate payouts through PayPal: No more manual processing of affiliate commissions with this addition to Kajabi payments!
• Communities now included: This used to be a separate product you had to create, but now it's just built into your Kajabi account.
• Comment-to-DM automation: You don't need ManyChat or similar tools anymore to automatically message people who comment.
• Link-in-bio tool: Say goodbye to paying for Linktree! 👋
• Automatic video transcriptions: This makes your online course content or other digital products accessible to more people.

The main downside I'm seeing is that most of these features are locked to the Growth and Pro plans. That's frustrating if you're on a lower tier.

For example, I use Kajabi primarily for my website and client invoicing. I don't run courses or memberships, so I don't need the Pro plan. But I'd love access to some of these features without paying for the full upgrade.

I personally think that it would be very useful to have an à la carte menu where you could add specific features for a smaller fee.

This way, you'd have the ability to pick and choose what matters to your business!

What Is Kajabi Used For?

Kajabi is still used for all the same things, such as creating and selling online courses, running coaching programs, hosting membership sites, building your website, managing email marketing, and distributing podcasts. That hasn't changed.

What has changed is how much you can do within each of these areas. For example, the new checkout customization means you can create higher-converting sales pages without adding external tools. Basically, Kajabi does what it always did, but with even fewer workarounds needed.

Why Is Kajabi So Expensive?

Soooo, about that price increase! I know that some people are upset about it.

But in my opinion, this is the first change in over TEN years.

In that time, Kajabi went from a basic course platform to an all-in-one system with coaching tools, communities, podcasts, newsletters, automations, payment processing, and now all these new features.

Price increases happen in business. We raise our own rates when we add value or gain experience. Kajabi has added massive value to their platform, and the pricing still consolidates what would otherwise be 5-6 separate software subscriptions.

From where I'm standing, the update is solid. The pricing is fair given what you get.

My only real complaint is the feature gating...I wish more of the good stuff were available across all tiers, or that we could buy features individually!

Is There Anything Better Than Kajabi?

In my opinion, Kajabi is the best platform for knowledge-based digital businesses. If you're a course creator, coach, author, or speaker who wants to sell your expertise online, nothing else comes close to offering this much under one roof. And with all the new features, it's now even better!
